This project is the result of a reflection on the evolution of our system of objects, from design to production.

This project is in line with this new industrial revolution where the object is 50% information and 50% material. The goal of this project is to provide access to new ways of producing objects, by giving out digital designs that could help others. These objects are the tools to help develop fragile societies and improve their access to knowledge, by learning to read and write. We provide the digital files for printing in 3D basic school supplies: a pencil, a pen, a pair of scissors and a compass. This is a modest contribution which marks the beginning of a movement of free access to objects of first necessity. Malala Yousufzai, young Nobel Prize of Peace said to the UN council: “a child, a teacher, a book and a pen can change the world.” So let’s not waste time and exploit the resources offered by this new industrial revolution to help the change.
